This study examines the effect of yoga practice on menstrual cycle regularity among 360 women, comparing 180 yoga practitioners with 180 non-practitioners. An independent samples t-test revealed a significant difference in menstrual cycle regularity (t (358) = 2.94, p = 0.003), with yoga practitioners reporting more regular cycles (M = 1.12, SD = 0.322) compared to non-practitioners (M = 1.30, SD = 0.400). These findings support the hypothesis that yoga practice is associated with improved menstrual regularity and suggest yoga as a non-invasive approach to enhance women’s reproductive health. The results advocate for integrating yoga into women’s health strategies and warrant further investigation into its long-term benefits. |
