Description

This contribution was originally presented at the 20th German Ferrofluid Workshop, held in Benediktbeuern, Germany, from September 25–27, 2024. https://www.ferrofluidverein.de

We investigate the magnetic fields generated by spatially arranged clusters of ideal dipoles. Particular focus is given to configurations that exhibit approximate spherical symmetry or multipole-like behavior. The study employs both analytical models and numerical simulations, providing insight into field homogeneity and design principles for experimental setups.
