Description
These data were generated as part of a Stage-1 SMART Grant from the United States Department of Transportation. Nasvhille Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure is the primary recipient and leader of the project team. The data contained herein consist of multimodal trajectories generated from eight ITS lidar systems installed across the North Nashville neighborhood. Trajectories consist of the time and location series of any vehicle, cyclist, or pedestrian detected by the lidar sensors and perception software, assembled at 10Hz. Additionally, we provide a data product derived from these trajectories: the post encroachment time values of object interactions, which characterize "near miss" safety events.
This respository contains a README with further details about the data, a DCAT-US metadata file, and a sample data file. Note that the sample data contains only a single day of trajectory data due to file size limitations; the full data is available at the link below.
- Sample code to accompany the data can be found at: https://github.com/Lab-Work/LADDMS_data_distribution/
- The data files are published redundantly in JSON format and PKL (Python binarized/serialized) format, found at: http://vu.edu/laddmspublic
