The Egyptian Union of Youth Entities

The Egyptian Union of Youth Entities is an officially recognized youth body affiliated with the Ministry of Youth and Sports. It was established based on:

• The Youth Bodies Law No. 218 of 2017, as amended by Law No. 7 of 2020, in accordance with Article 26 of the law.

• Ministerial Decree No. 1662 of 2023 issued by His Excellency the Minister of Youth and Sports.

• The Union has an approved basic statute and financial regulations that govern all administrative and financial aspects of its operations.

• It includes under its umbrella 37 accredited youth entities operating in an organized manner across various governorates of the Republic.

• The Union has a Board of Trustees chaired by Professor Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, the Minister of Youth and Sports, and is managed by an elected Board of Directors responsible for setting general policies, implementing programs, and managing the Union’s affairs in accordance with the statute and the law.

Accordingly, any entity or group that does not fall under the umbrella of the Egyptian Union of Youth Entities and does not have an official accreditation or ministerial decree is considered outside the regulatory framework recognized by the Ministry.
