AVALIAÇÃO PSICOLÓGICA E TRANSPLANTE DE MEDULA ÓSSEA: UMA REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA

This article aims to carry out an integrative bibliographical review about Psychological Assessment in the context of Bone Marrow Transplantation. For this, scientific articles were analyzed according to the PRISMA methodology (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis), selecting 9 articles published and registered in the PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, BVS and PsyNet databases. Researches suggest investigation of factors such as stress symptoms, coping style, personality, psychosocial support, multidisciplinary follow-up and their psychological reverberations in the pre and post-transplant period, with 2 of these articles prioritizing the discussion of the influence of personality on those aspects . It was possible to note the relevance of psychological assessment in the context of bone marrow transplantation. However, the difficulty of locating studies that deal with the subject and that have been published in indexed databases stands out. This conclusion underscores the importance and need for greater scientific production on the subject.
