Description
Two-Minute Genera is a bilingual video series celebrating the incredible diversity of plants, starting with the ferns and lycophytes of Colombia. Each episode introduces a plant genus, highlighting its distribution, species richness, and field identification tips. While designed with students and researchers in mind, the content is accessible to anyone curious about plant life.
This work is part of the Ferns of Colombia project, funded by the National Science Foundation (DEB-2045319 & DEB-2330409) with help from collaborators across Colombia, the U.S. and the U.K. Videos from the Ferns of Colombia YouTube page were produced by Sarah K. Morris & Susana Vega-Betancur, with additional help from the Ferns of Colombia team.
