The Energetic Essence as the Basis of the Soul: An Etymological and Mythological Reconstruction from Proto-Indo-European Roots to Jinn in Islamic Cosmology
Authors/Creators
Description
This article proposes an interdisciplinary model of the soul as a luminous energetic entity, rooted in the archetype of the jinn in Islamic cosmology. Through a philological and mythological analysis of Proto-Indo-European (PIE) roots (dheu-, h₂eus-, seh₂-), and comparative lexical forms (duša, ūṣa, psyche), the paper establishes the philosophical and ontological continuity between the concept of the soul and that of the jinn — as pre-incarnational manifestations of consciousness. A formal model of archetypal transformation over time is introduced, incorporating linguistic shifts, mythologization, and religious codification. The work provides a novel philosophical-linguistic framework for understanding the embodied and disembodied states of consciousness, with an emphasis on the tangible energetic manifestations of the soul and a deeper exploration of consciousness itself.
