This dataset comprises the full OCR-generated corpus of 5,471 colonial Virginia land grant abstracts originally published in Cavaliers and Pioneers, Volume 3 (1695–1732) edited by Nell Marion Nugent (1979). Due to copyright restrictions, full-text access is provided under restricted conditions for vetted, non-commercial scholarly research only.

Access requests must specify the intended non-commercial scholarly use and agree not to redistribute the corpus publicly.
