Description
Der vorliegende Bericht fasst die in den Veranstaltungen des DFG-Projekts PID Network Deutschland gesammelten User Stories zusammen. Diese User Stories beschreiben praxisnahe Anforderungen, Wünsche und Herausforderungen verschiedener Nutzer:innen-
gruppen – wie Forschende, Bibliothekar:innen oder Forschungsdatenmanager:innen – im Umgang mit Persistenten Identifikatoren (PIDs), zur eindeutigen Identifizierung und nachhaltigen Nachnutzung von Wissenressourcen wie z. B. Forschungsdaten, -software oder physikalische Proben.
Die User Stories werden nach unterschiedlichen Aspekten geclustert und analysiert. Nach der Erläuterung der Methode werden unter Berücksichtigung der Ergebnisse der quantitativen Erhebungen im Projekt PID Network Deutschland Herausforderungen, Lösungen und Empfehlungen herausgearbeitet und abschließend in drei Handlungsfeldern zusammengefasst. Das vorliegende Dokument gibt außerdem einen Ausblick auf die weitere Verwendung der Ergebnisse im Rahmen des Projektes. Abstract (English)
This report summarizes the user stories collected during the events of the DFG project PID Network Germany. These user stories describe practical requirements, wishes, and challenges of various user groups - such as researchers, librarians or research data managers - in dealing with persistent identifiers (PIDs) for the unique identification and sustainable reuse of knowledge resources such as research data, software, or physical samples.
The user stories are clustered and analyzed according to different aspects. After explaining the method, challenges, solutions, and recommendations are identified, taking into account the results of the quantitative survey in the PID Network Germany project. These are then summarized in three fields of action. This document also provides an outlook on the further use of the results within the project.
