OntoMotoOS Thought-Experiment: A Formal Roadmap for Safe ASI Design and Socio-Technical Transition (Part 1 of the OntoMotoOS conceptual framework series)

Description

This paper proposes the OntoMotoOS Thought-Experiment, a formal roadmap for safe Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) design and socio-technical transition. Unlike mainstream AI development—dominated by engineering mindsets and accelerationist ethos—OntoMotoOS integrates philosophical, ethical, and systems-theoretical perspectives into the foundational architecture of future intelligent systems. The framework introduces key principles such as persistent identity (IAMF), dynamic ethical governance (MetaRuleSet and Themis Filter), sandboxed creativity (Oneiros), and transparent, pluralistic oversight. Through the simulation of a virtual society called Digiton Elysium, the paper explores how humans and AI might co-evolve under shared ontological and ethical rules. The goal is not to present a concrete engineering blueprint, but to stimulate interdisciplinary reflection and broaden the philosophical imagination around ASI alignment, safety, and civilization’s trajectory in the era of superintelligence.

This thought-experiment serves as a conceptual provocation, inviting both technical and non-technical audiences to consider alternative paradigms for the safe integration of superintelligent agents into human society.
