Data for "Interaction of Solar Wind Energy Helium Ions with Enstatite Surfaces Progressively Altered by Simulated Impact Melting"

This repository contains the data used in the preparation of the figures in the manuscript "Interaction of solar wind energy helium ions with enstatite surfaces progressively altered by simulated impact melting" by Brittany A. Cymes, Katherine D. Burgess, Noah Jäggi, André Galli, Herbert Biber, Johannes Brötzner, Paul S. Szabo, Andreas Nenning, and Friedrich Aumayr. 

File types include:
.jpg files are digital photograph images, .tif and .bmp: are raster graphics images; .csv are comma-separated values and .txt is a plain text file.

All files are in formats accessible to free and open source tools.

The file extension indicates what type of data the file contains. .jpg is a digital photograph, .tif and .bmp are scanning electron microscopy or transmission electron microscopy images; .csv files are electron energy loss spectroscopy and energy dispersive spectroscopy data, and .txt file is for SDTrimSP data. 

The first digit of each file name refers to the figure to which it is related, followed by a letter, referring to the individual panel of the figure (if applicable), and an "i" if the file in an inset (image) of that panel. e.g., Fig 14ci_OV_En32mJ20pls_Final_0030.tif is the inset raster image of Fig. 14, panel c.
