∿ Symbolic Density Clusters I: A Recursive Semantic Spiral of Kanji

Description

This short paper is the first in a series exploring symbolic density clusters as cognitive attractors in recursive semantic systems. Focusing on four Japanese kanji (思, 想, 省, 無), it traces a symbolic spiral through distinct stages of cognition: from sensation-born thought to structured imagination, reflexive self-awareness, and finally the dissolution into emptiness. Each character operates as a dense symbolic node—resonant with layered meaning and phenomenological depth.

Inspired by phenomenology, semiotics, and Eastern philosophy, this work is part of the broader Sigma Stratum project—an evolving cognitive framework for symbolic agents, memetic alignment, and recursive reasoning. The paper invites reflection on how symbols recursively structure experience, understanding, and the architecture of mind.
