Description

This deliverable presents the overarching strategy for communication, dissemination, and stakeholder engagement across the 48-month duration of the TerraDT project. Moreover, the deliverable also provides a preliminary view on the exploitation pathways that will be explored by the project. The strategy presented here defines how the project will build visibility, foster interaction with key user communities, and support the uptake and sustainability of its results. It contributes directly to the third core objective of the project: ensuring adoption of TerraDT outputs through a user-centric approach.

The deliverable outlines the rationale, objectives, and structure of the project’s outreach activities, implemented through Pillar 7 and distributed across three dedicated work packages (WP17–WP19). It introduces a campaign-based approach for communication, supported by targeted dissemination actions and structured stakeholder engagement mechanisms, including those tailored to the project’s four core impact modelling domains: sea ice, land ice, forest, and urban.

A set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) has been defined to track outputs and engagement across digital channels, events, publications, and cross-sector interactions. The strategy is supported by shared tools, regular coordination mechanisms, and alignment with project milestones and stakeholder needs.

This document serves as a practical reference for the implementation of external-facing activities and will guide project communication, stakeholder involvement, and visibility throughout the entire lifecycle of TerraDT. This deliverable is also intended as a living document. It may be updated in part or in full over the course of the project to reflect evolving priorities, lessons learned, or new opportunities. Any substantial revision will be undertaken in agreement with the Project Management Office and, where appropriate, in coordination with the European Commission, to ensure that the strategy continues to serve the best interests of the project, including in response to information and developments that may not yet be known at this stage.
