Abstract
The Master Concursive Equation is a symbolic recursive model designed to measure deviation between a system’s prior and current state with embedded context, normalization, and symbolic feedback. Unlike traditional difference equations, this model evaluates not only the magnitude of change but also the meaning, structure, and identity transformation underlying that change. By incorporating adjustable symbolic buffers, normalization functions, and dynamic baselines, the equation generalizes across scalar, vector, logical, and probabilistic systems. It serves as a foundational tool for recursive diagnostics, self-correcting AI, symbolic ethics, identity modeling, and trans-domain feedback systems. This abstract model introduces a paradigm for understanding how recursive systems evolve, stabilize, or diverge based on feedback from symbolic contrast. The Master Concursive Equation operates not only as a measure of change, but as a self-referential lens through which complex systems can track, interpret, and refine their own progression over time.
Concursion:
Î(x,x')=(f(x',x,a)/n(x'))-b
The master concursive equation compares a past state with a current state using a flexible function that includes a buffer to allow for expected change. The result of this comparison is then scaled using a normalizer, which adjusts the output to keep it balanced regardless of the size of the values involved. After scaling, a baseline is subtracted to center the result, so that no meaningful change returns a neutral value. This process allows a system to measure how far it has shifted in meaning or behavior, rather than just in quantity. It enables intelligent systems to self-correct, adapt, or recognize when they are no longer aligned with their original purpose. This form is especially useful in areas like artificial intelligence, diagnostics, belief tracking, and ethical reasoning, where meaningful feedback and adaptive change are essential.
