Description

The Tsova-Tush (Batsbi) spoken corpus consists of transcribed and morphologically annotated audio recordings, collected in 2022 in Zemo Alvani, Georgia—the only village where the language is still actively spoken. The corpus contains texts from 16 native speakers, each of whom provided five semi-spontaneous narratives based on predefined themes: Ancestors, Activity, Comparison, Event, and Path. In total, the corpus comprises 80 parallel texts (16 speakers × 5 narratives), with a combined duration of 138 minutes and a total of 13,296 word tokens. All recordings have been fully glossed and translated into English.
