USING CONCEPT AND MIND MAPS IN PRIMARY SCHOOL PRACTICE TO SUPPORT MOTHER TONGUE TEACHING

The article deals with concept/mind maps, the possibilities of their use in education, the principles of how concept maps work and how they contribute to improving the quality of teaching. Practical examples demonstrate the use of concept maps in teaching the Czech language at the primary school. The article explores the experiences of future primary school teachers (n = 194) with the use of concept maps in education, as well as their attitude towards integrating this interesting didactic tool into their future teaching practice.
