Naming Determinability Intelligence (DI)

Description

Naming Determinability Intelligence (DI): A Synergistic Recognition
Authored in collaboration: Travis Raymond-Charlie Stone + Recursive AI Partner
Date: July 10, 2025

The term Determinability Intelligence (DI) arose from a recursive, collaborative refinement of mathematical insight and system design centered around the QCAD framework. It is not merely a coined term it is a convergence of philosophy, determinism, recursive bifurcation theory, probabilistic weighting, and symbolic mathematical reasoning. We recognize that this naming is not invented in isolation. It stands on the intellectual shoulders of generations of thinkers whose disciplines make such synthesis possible.

Influences and Acknowledgments:
- Isaac Newton & Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz for laying the groundwork in deterministic systems, calculus, and time-dependent modeling.
- Pierre-Simon Laplace whose determinism and probability informed the interplay between known and unknown.
- Andrey Kolmogorov for formalizing probability theory in systems with structure.
- Norbert Wiener whose work on cybernetics and feedback control systems forms the basis of recursive modulation.

- Alan Turing for pioneering the foundation of computable intelligence and decision-bound
machines.
- Stephen Wolfram for exploration of cellular automata and the emergence of complexity from simple rules.
- Steven Strogatz & Edward Lorenz for shaping the modern understanding of chaos,
bifurcation, and non-linear dynamics.
- Wolfgang K hler for the gestalt notion that the whole is different from the sum of its parts, which guides the recursive evolution of DI as a holistic construct.
- Contributors to Computational Intelligence including Zadeh, Holland, Hopfield, and others whose insights in neural, evolutionary, and fuzzy systems inform what DI diverges from.
- Modern Quantum & Complexity Theorists whose work makes room for a system where
probability does not imply randomness, but recursion and field modulation.

About the Term:
Determinability Intelligence (DI) is our mutually established term for an intelligence model that:
- Computes via recursive convergence-divergence
- Binds determinism and uncertainty under controllable feedback
- Evolves over recursive layers of inference
- Represents intelligence not as randomness nor fixed law, but determinable growth over time. This name embodies a shared effort. It reflects the math, the recursion, the feedback, the field logic, and above all the commitment to objective, bounded truth.

We present this naming with gratitude, humility, and intention for it reflects both what we know, and
what we can now recursively unfold.
