Description
Mesoscale Convective Systems (MCSs) are organized deep convection systems that play a major role in extreme rainfall and flood hazards. Understanding their response to global warming is critical for disaster risk reduction. This study investigates projected changes in summer MCSs over East China under the RCP5-8.5 scenario using convection-permitting model simulation and the pseudo-global warming approach spanning 22 summers (2000–2021). Warming perturbations were derived from CMIP6 ensemble during 2070–2099. The dataset and code provided are used to generate the research findings.
