How to participate and support the standardisation process

Standardisation served as a critical bridge between legislation, such as the Cyber Resilience Act, and market implementation, defining the technical frameworks that enable regulatory compliance and drive industry adoption. However, many professionals and organisations still struggled to navigate the complexities of the process and identify the right channels to contribute effectively. Standardisation was often perceived as a closed system, difficult to access and influenced by established actors, making it challenging for newcomers to find entry points and have a meaningful impact. This webinar aimed to demystify the standardisation process, breaking down the barriers that make it seem inaccessible. It provided a clear roadmap on how to engage with European Standardisation Organisations (ESOs), navigate the rules and commitments required, and identify practical ways to participate.
