of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan (NFAK), a renowned figure in Sufi music. By analysing 25 selected performances, focusing on two
key pieces, the study employs a content analysis approach to investigate elements such as Gamak, Alap, Sargam, Meend, and Khatka. The findings highlight NFAK's innovative fusion of classical techniques within his Qawwali framework, demonstrating how these integrations enrich the genre and contribute significantly to its evolution. This paper aims to comprehensively understand NFAK's unique style and its broader implications within South Asian music traditions.
