Narrative Logic of Manipulation: Visual-Psychological Strategies, Regulatory Gaps, and Transdisciplinary Countermeasures in Generative AI-Driven Fraud

Abstract

This book adopts content analysis and comparative legal review, framed through the Narrative Transdisciplinary Integration Theory, to explore how generative artificial intelligence (Generative AI) is integrated with psychological manipulation and visual deception to craft highly persuasive and viral fraudulent messages. Findings indicate that scams employ color psychology, celebrity imagery, linguistic nudging, and emotional voice synthesis—combined with deepfake visuals and A/B testing—to manipulate user trust and perception. These elements are amplified through algorithmic promotion on platforms, triggering effects such as social familiarity, group reinforcement, and the spiral of silence.

In the frontiers of criminology and psychology, cutting-edge methods such as neurocriminology, predictive behavioral modeling, eye-tracking systems, and AI-driven persuasive message detection are being developed to identify human vulnerabilities. In contrast, Taiwan’s current legal framework lacks sufficient mechanisms for AI content disclosure, data usage transparency, and cross-platform accountability—rendering it ineffective against cross-border AI-based fraud schemes.

This paper proposes the “Narrative Transdisciplinary Integration Theory” as a structural bridge connecting methodologies from psychology, law, digital forensics, communication, and visual semiotics. It calls for the co-development of simulation-based media literacy, alert-oriented design principles, and platform governance strategies to build a multilayered defense framework against evolving AI-driven fraud.

Before diving into this book, readers are encouraged to explore the 50 previously published volumes in this series and one peer-reviewed journal (links below). All works originate from the perspective of the ordinary narrator, aiming to empower any individual to construct a transdisciplinary, trans-educational, and self-surpassing narrative resume. Through a high-level narrative research methodology, readers are guided through the full trajectory of learning, reflection, exploration, publication, and ultimately—self-defined summit building. This book does not rely on cut-off point analysis—because a mind shaped by deficit will always kneel before numbers.
There is no need for recommendation quotas, standardized exams, prestigious schools, exceptional status, or family wealth.
Reaching the top begins with a single declaration: “I’m ready.”
