Internship report of a student from Eindhoven University of Technology at the Swiss Plasma Centren for the graduate program Science and Technology of Nuclear Fusion.

The report is structured as follows.Firstly, some background is provided for readers
with little knowledge on nuclear fusion, Electron Cyclotron Heating (ECH), and Electron Cyclotron
Current Drive (ECCD). Secondly, the new implementation of TORBEAM is compared to the
installed and veri ed ray-tracing code TORAY-GA. Thirdly, validated real-time TORBEAM is
used to determine the launching angles required to reach a location of wave deposition, to reverse
ray-trace (the second motivator).
