LiRI Corpus Platform: Data Model and Query

  • 1. ROR icon University of Zurich

Description

The LiRI Corpus Platform (LCP) was developed to host and query large data sets of annotated texts and multimedia content. LCP can accomodate a broad variety of corpora; in the context of Open Research Data, users are encouraged to import and share their data with LCP. In this session, participants get familiar with LCP by looking at existing corpora: how their annotations are represented and how they can be queried. This leads to a discussion about data preparation, not only from the perspective of the platform’s technical specifications, but also and as importantly from the end user’s perspective, so as to facilitate their querying and, ultimately, their extracting of the information that you are sharing with them.
