Excel template to plot hydrochemical data into a Piper diagram

The water sample data can be arranged in up to 15 groups (version 1.1, May 25, 2022) that will be displayed with different symbols/colours in the three diagrams. Individual groups can be easily turned on/off for display.

Version "Piper_Diagram_2025-07.xlsm":

This version comes with a VBA macro that only inserts additional rows in order to accomodate more samples in a group. You don't need to enable the macro if you are happy with the number of pre-defined samples.
