FUTURISTIC NONFICTION-CUM-FICTION AGAINST CAPITALIST REALISM

Scarcity, feminist discontents, climate crisis, and war are disturbing issues integral to capitalist realism. How nonfiction and fiction and especially a mix of them have dealt with them in utopian or dystopian imagination is sketched out here. It turns out that there is no determinacy in how the ensemble of empirical facts, expectations, fantasies and shared narratives impacts economy and society.
