Relationship between Organizational Justice and Organizational Citizenship Behavior with the Mediating Role of Commitment and Identification
Description
The objective of the study is to find relationship between organizational justice (OJ) and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) with the mediating role of affective commitment (AC) and organizational identification (OI) of the employees working in the Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in Bangladesh. A convenient sampling technique was utilized, and a 37-item questionnaire was distributed among 185 NGO employees working in different NGOs located in Dhaka. PLS-SEM 4.1.0 was utilized to test the hypothesized model. Results found that OJ and OCB don’t have positive relationships. However, OI and AC sequentially mediate the relationship, indicating the presence of perceived identification enhances AC among employees and which in turn increase the OCB of the staffs.
