Description

File uvspec_datset.csv: uvspec simulations described in the section “Simulations and analysis”

1st column (Dataset): ‘A’ indicates the first set of simulations, ‘B’ the second set of simulations.

2nd to 7th columns: uvspec   setup parameters described in Table 1.

8th and 9th columns: simulated  and .

 File Ground_stations_datset.csv:  Dataset used for the comparison between observed UVI at six ground stations and UVI obtained using ERA5 data (section “UVI measurements, ERA5 and CAMS data”).

1st column: Ground station label (Table 2).

2nd to 5th columns: measured , , , and .

 Files UVI_ERA5_MAX.py, Solar_elevation.py, 202407_DAY.nc, and 202407_MONTH.nc: Python scripts and outputs (netcdf) used to produce the example presented in Appendix A.

 202307_DAY.nc: Daily grids of maximum  (variable: 'uvi_max_day')

 202407_MONTH.nc: Grid of the monthly 95th percentile of the daily maximum  (variable: 'uvi_95_month')
