Description

This dataset contains the raw and processed data supporting the findings reported in the article: "Advanced catalyst layers for PEM fuel cell produced by inkjet-printing. Part 2: Catalyst layer structure comparison with ultrasonic-spray-coated layers" by M. Hala et al. The data cover a comprehensive set of structural and transport property characterizations of catalyst layers (CLs) fabricated via inkjet printing (IJP) and ultrasonic spray coating (USC), used in proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs). The dataset includes profilometry, conductivity measurements, permeation experiments, FIB-SEM 3D reconstructions, and derived microstructural descriptors. It enables replication of analysis and provides insights into the correlation between structure and performance of CLs fabricated by different deposition techniques.
