In Annex I Description of the Work, D eliverable 8.1 Implementation Plan is described in the
following terms : “Description of measurement parameters, indicators of success, contingency
plans and key control points in the process for each of the 3 case studies to enable subsequent
control and evaluation of implementation, international comparability and know how
sharing ..”

Deliverable 8.1 deals with the demonstration scenario s derive d from the use cases
described in Deliverables 1.8, 2.2 and 2.3. The objectives of the demonstration scenario s are
threefold:
- to apply the methods and tools identified in the activities
- to obtain feedback f rom users in d ifferent settings
- to provide information to support the technological development of the project.

In this deliverable the processes of design, implementation and monitoring of the
demonstration scenarios in the three cases of study are defined . The scena rios have been
designed to ensure a comparable parallel development and to facilitate the exchange of
experience s at the European level.

The network of use cases is defined in this report. The implementation process begins with
the selection of a U se C ase that is common to all the demonstration scenarios U se C ase 10).

In the description of the activities of the use case, and in the flow chart of the demonstration
scenarios, input data is defined according to Task 3.1, whilst technical requirements and
objectives are linked with those defined in T ask 2.1 and will be further contextuali s ed in T ask
6.1. Output calculations from demonstration scenarios serve firstly as a basis for the
calculation of indicators defined in T ask 2.2 and secondly for validatio n of impact according
to the methodology defined in T ask 2.3. The outputs of the first and second iteration of the
implementation process will serve in D2.4 as an updated version of impact defined in Task
2.3. In relation to WP5, technical requirements and software tools proposed in this document
will be developed or integrated in the SEIF in T asks 5.1 and 5.2.
