Software Publications From a DataCite Perspective
Description
This presentation provides insights into the resource type software. Although software accounts for only 0.78% of all registered DOIs (as of June 2025), its significance in scholarly communication continues to increase. The slides highlight trends in registering DOIs for software DOI, metadata practices, and the roles of repositories like Zenodo.
