NIR cosmology with type Ia supernovae
Description
In optical wavelengths, type Ia supernovae are standardisable candles, whereas they are nearly standard candles in near-infrared (NIR) wavelengths. In this talk, I will describe how we use type ia supernovae that have both optical and NIR infrared coverage to construct Hubble diagrams and determine the Hubble constant H0. In this talk I will describe how we do photometry and construct light curves, light curve fitting and determination of H0.
