Description
Abstract: In the Indian context, the regulations of reservation have always been a sensitive and and issue of debate because the policy of reservation is the question of social justice. There is often a need to understand the student’s perception about such regulations/policies with respect to the reservation situation, especially when the country is experiencing deep and dynamic socio-economic transitional changes. The questionnaire aims at finding out the reality of Indian students towards the importance of the reservation laws and how they believe that the policies are helpful in the division of justice, education, and social harmonization. We shall therefore through analysing the answers to the provided survey, and the ensuing discussion from a cross-section of participants further the debate on policy making for a more inclusive, and fair modern India.
