R scripts and complementary data for manuscript "Global invasion patterns and dynamics of disease vector mosquitoes"

This dataset contains records of first regional introductions and establishments of mosquito species known as vectors of human diseases. Each entry includes metadata such as species identity, year of first record, establishment status, mode of introduction, and data source. All records were compiled through a literature search and standardized using consistent taxonomic references wrom wrbu. The dataset also includes country-level socio-economic and environmental predictors used in generalized linear mixed models to assess the drivers of mosquito invasions, as well as the R code used to perform these analyses. 

A complete list of data sources is included within the dataset file (Mosquito_article_1_dataset.csv). Further details on data compilation, continental delineations, and analytical methods are provided in the associated publication:
