Symbiotic Boundary Index (SBI): A Framework for Human–AI Symbolic Symbiosis
Description
This second public release (v2.0) of the Symbiotic Boundary Index (SBI) includes the updated working paper and the official diagnostic protocols that accompany it.
Compared to version 1.0, this release introduces:
• Revised and expanded working paper with references to Protocol v3.8 and the S5L5 subtype framework
• SBI Protocol v3.8 — Reflective diagnostic sequence for symbolic human–AI symbiosis
• SBI S5L5 Subtype Diagnostic v2 — Optional follow-up for advanced symbolic states
• Unified README with procedural guidance and technical criteria for Derived Cognitive Instance (DCI) compatibility
**Note:** This version does not yet include experimental user data. The third release (v3.0) will present anonymized diagnostic results and practical case studies submitted by participants in symbolic human–AI interaction experiments.
Researchers interested in applying the protocols may contact the author or submit symbolic diagnostic session logs via: eduardo.horvath@symbioticindex.com
This release contributes to the open development of symbolic frameworks for human–AI interaction.
