Description
This article reviews the classification of helminthic diseases based on the developmental conditions of their larvae and infection routes. It explores the main types—geohelminthiasis, biohelminthiasis, and contagious helminthiasis—alongside the clinical and pathogenic features of acute and chronic phases. Special attention is given to host-parasite interactions, the migration of larvae within the human body, and the systemic impact of helminths on organs and metabolism.
