Data used for manuscipt: 'Rapid ocean warming drives sexually divergent habitat use in a threatened predatory marine ectotherm'.

 

File descriptions:

 

Raw acoustic detection data:

Raw acoustic data.zip - All raw downloads of acoustic detection data for each download period. In most cases each each receiver location has a separate raw data file.

 

Processed acoustic detection data:

detections_female.csv - All cleaned/processed acoustic detections for female sharks, full study period (2018-2023)

detections_male.csv - All cleaned/processed acoustic detections for female sharks, full study period (2018-2023)

 

Acoustic metadata:

receivers.csv - Metadata for acoustic receivers

tagged_sharks.csv - Metadata for tagged sharks

 

BRT input data:

environmental_data_daily.csv - Daily data for all environmental variables / model inputs

presence-absence.csv - Daily shark count and presence-absence, for use in BRTs and GAMs

full_BRT_data.csv - Data frame used in Boosted Regression Tree models

 

BRT code:

1_BRT_dataprep - R code for BRT preparation / checks for collinearity between variable pairs

2_BRTs_females - R code for full set of female BRT models

3_BRTs_males - R code for full set of male BRT models
