THE IMPORTANCE OF ENGLISH IN GREEN ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES AND TERMINOLOGY
Description
The global transition to green energy technologies requires an efficient
exchange of knowledge, research, and innovation across national borders. English, as
the international language of science and technology, plays a central role in this process.
This article explores the importance of English in green energy technologies, examining
its role in international collaboration, technical terminology, and the educational and
professional development of specialists. The study highlights how English facilitates
access to global knowledge, promotes standardization of technical terms, and enhances
cooperation among researchers, engineers, and policymakers from diverse linguistic
backgrounds. The study also addresses challenges faced by non-native English speakers
in the energy sector and underscores the need for language support in technical
education and professional training. Ultimately, the mastery of English is shown to be a
vital tool for innovation, global participation, and success in the evolving field of green
energy.
