Description
This study examines the transformative impact of digitization on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and analyzes how digital technologies reshape business operations, customer relationships, and competitive positioning. The research investigates the multifaceted role of digital transformation in enhancing operational efficiency, market reach, and innovation capabilities within SME contexts. SMEs, which constitute 90% of all businesses globally and 50% of employment, face unique challenges in digital transformation due to low awareness, insufficient resources, and lagging adoption rates compared to larger firms. Through systematic analysis of digitization strategies, implementation challenges, and performance outcomes, this paper explores how SMEs leverage digital technologies to overcome traditional limitations and achieve sustainable competitive advantages.
