Description
This dataset supports the systematic literature mapping conducted as part of a doctoral research project focused on the assessment of complex and computational thinking (CCT) in higher education contexts. The database contains metadata for the scientific articles analyzed, including title, authorship, year of publication, country of origin, research type, methodological approach, research design, assessed competencies (complex thinking, computational thinking, or both), academic level, disciplinary area, educational environment, technological support, and citation count. The dataset covers empirical and theoretical studies indexed in Scopus and Web of Science between 2010 and 2025. Its purpose is to provide transparency, reproducibility, and open access to the evidence base used in the literature mapping, and to support further research in educational innovation, digital ecosystems, and 21st-century skill assessment.
