Biodiversity in fruit crops in Balkan

Description

The assessment presented at the Congress, held from August 24 to 27, 2015, 25 years after the reunification of Germany, under the patronage of the International Association for the Plant Protection Sciences (IAPPS), the German Phytomedical Society (DPG), Julius Kühn Institute (JKI) and the Agriculture Industry Association (IVA),  in the Henry Ford Building of the Free University of Berlin, had as main objective the data support the Plant Protection intergovernmental treaty, that aims to protect the world's plants, agricultural products and natural resources from plant pests. Those data in regard of Western Balkan Region served as suppot on the amendments and revisions to four International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPMs), the benchmark for countries to apply in the trade of plants and plant products.
