Current state and development prospects of tourism: comparative analysis and Uzbekistan's experience

This article presents a comprehensive analysis of the current state and development prospects of Uzbekistan’s
tourism sector in comparison with international practices. By examining cases from Kazakhstan, Georgia, Turkey, France,
and the UAE, the study identifies both strengths and weaknesses of the national tourism model. Special attention is
given to digital transformation, branding, state support, and sustainable tourism. Based on the analysis, the article offers
recommendations to modernize Uzbekistan’s tourism policy in line with global trends
