DR. B.R. AMBEDKAR'S VIEWS ON LAND REFORMS AND AGRICULTURAL SECTOR: A CRITICAL ANALYSIS

This research paper examines Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's perspectives on land reforms and the agricultural sector in India. As the principal architect of India's Constitution and a prominent social reformer, Ambedkar's economic thought has profound implications for understanding India's agrarian structure and potential reform pathways. This paper analyzes Ambedkar's critique of traditional landholding systems, his advocacy for the abolition of the Khoti and Mahar Watan systems, his proposals for state socialism with nationalization of land, and his arguments for agricultural industrialization.
