D1.1. Management and Coordination Plan. WP1 - CARE4DIABETES

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This deliverable sets out the specific Management and Coordination Plan which provides
guidelines for the project partners to be followed during the full cycle of the project
CARE4DIABETES. This plan aims to lay out the management structure as well as the different roles
and procedures for the successful implementation of the project CARE4DIABETES including the
organization of administrative and financial aspects. This document integrates the definition of
project management bodies for decision making processes, the guidelines elaborated for
technical and financial reporting and project visibility, and the procedures developed for the
submission of publications, the quality of the project deliverables, and risk monitoring in the
framework of the project CARE4DIABETES.
Results from the implementation of the methodologies developed in this plan will be integrated
during the execution of the project. This document will be updated continuously during the
lifecycle of the project CARE4DIABETES and an update is provided at month 18.
The information provided by this deliverable will be addressed to the European Commission and
the partners and affiliated entities of the project.
The preparation of this document is based on the Grant Agreement No. 101082427 and its
annexes (specially Annex I of the GA – Description of Action), on the CARE4DIABETES Consortium
Agreement, and on good project management practices.
