COMPETENT APPROACH IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE EDUCATION

This article analyzes the importance of a competency-based approach in foreign language education. The competency-based approach is aimed at developing students' ability to use language in practice, improving their communicative skills, and stimulating the process of self-learning.
