Description

Lasioglossum (Lasioglossum) pallens (Brullé, 1932)

Halictus pallens Brullé, 1932: 350, ♀. Lectotype: ♀, Greece: Marathomsi (Peloponnes); designated by Ebmer (1972a: 590); MNP.

Published data. Morawitz 1873: 166 (Dagestan Republic, as Halictus lineolatus); Pesenko 1986: 124 (Caucasus); Chenikalova 2005: 26 (Stavropol Territory).

Material examined. RUSSIA. Stavropol Territory: 1 ♀, Kislovodsk, Kurortny Park, meadow, forest, 24.IV.2018, SB; 1 ♀, idem, road on Bolshoye Sedlo Mts, meadow, forest, 1. V.2018, SB.

Distribution. Russia (North Caucasus); Morocco, Tunis, Lebanon, Southern and Central Europe, Turkey, Armenia, Iran [nominate subspecies]; Cyprus [spp. kantarae (Warncke, 1982)] (Pesenko 1986; Ebmer 1970, 2014; Boustani et al. 2021).
