Impact of work teams on project management: A systematic review and bibliometric analysis
Description
This research aims to determine the impact that work teams have on the project management process within companies. The study is based on a systematic literature review, following the selection criteria proposed by Petticrew and Roberts and applying the PRISMA method. This led to the review of 62 research documents sourced from the Scopus bibliographic database. The main findings indicate that the primary impact of work teams in project management within companies is cost efficiency, followed by the strengthening of personnel safety. Additionally, it was found that the most commonly used research approach in this field is qualitative. Future research lines are suggested to focus on the development of metrics related to the impact of teams on project management.
