Description

Scope

This record contains galvanostatic intermittent titration technique (GITT) steps measured during electrochemical impedance spectra (EIS) on the NMC cathode of a commercial LG CHEM INR18650-MJ1 lithium-ion cell. The measurements were conducted at 25°C and are provided in a structured Parquet format, suitable for data analysis workflows and model fitting.

isPartOf INR18650-LG-3500-MJ1 Cathode Structured Data Collection This collection contains records with structured data files representing GITT measurements on the positive electrode (cathode) harvested from an INR18650-MJ1 Li-ion battery cell. The active material in the electrode is NMC. The measurment is obtained in three-electrode configuration with the working electrode NMC, counter electrode composite graphite/silicon oxide, and reference electrode lithium metal in a coin cell casing. The records include raw data obtained from GITT and EIS measurements. The data is intended to be used to charactrize the open-circuit potential and lithium diffusion coefficient in the NMC material to support model-based analysis of MJ1 cells.

Notes

Legend for the dataset column names:

  • "LINE": # of the step in the measurement device script
  • "COMM": type of the step (Charge/Discharge/...); intermittent EIS measurements happen during "Set-Temp", since the measurement device links with the climate chamber
  • "STATE": labels start (3) and end (2) of any step
