Description

Scope

This record contains electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) measurements of the NMC cathode from an LG CHEM INR18650-MJ1 lithium-ion cell, structured for machine-readable applications. The dataset includes Parquet files with harmonized tabular impedance data, suitable for computational pipelines, and optionally linked data in JSON-LD format for semantic annotation. These measurements were recorded at 25°C and cover both charge and discharge sequences over the full SOC range.

isPartOf INR18650-LG-3500-MJ1 Cathode Structured Data Collection This collection contains records with structured data files representing GITT measurements on the positive electrode (cathode) harvested from an INR18650-MJ1 Li-ion battery cell. The active material in the electrode is NMC. The measurment is obtained in three-electrode configuration with the working electrode NMC, counter electrode composite graphite/silicon oxide, and reference electrode lithium metal in a coin cell casing. The records include raw data obtained from GITT and EIS measurements. The data is intended to be used to charactrize the open-circuit potential and lithium diffusion coefficient in the NMC material to support model-based analysis of MJ1 cells.
