Description

This dataset contains the data and code used in Fernández-Corredor et al. 2025. Environmental and human factors shape the trophic ecology of a widespread marine predator. Journal of Animal Ecology.

It includes:

  • Raw values from the stable isotopes analysis performed in swordfish white muscle  (file: Fernandez-Corredor et al 2025 JAE_Stable Isotopes Data.xlsx)
  • Outputs from the mixing models (file: Fernandez-Corredor et al 2025 JAE_MixSIAR results.xlsx)
  • Environmental layers from BioOracle v3 (Assis et al. 2024) (fFernandez-Corredor et al 2025 JAE_spatial.zip)
  • Cummulative fishing effort raster calculated from Global Fishing Watch data (Kroodsma et al. 2018) (Fernandez-Corredor et al 2025 JAE_spatial.zip)
  • A shapefile with the grid used for predictions and projections (Fernandez-Corredor et al 2025 JAE_spatial.zip)
