Swedigarch AGES index

The AGES_index GeoPackage contains a point layer with information about all excavation databases maintained in the AGES (Archaeological Geodata from Excavations) database of Swedigarch, the Swedish National Infrastructure for Digital Archaeology. The full documentation of the excavation can be downloaded from the link "link_geodata".

Currently, AGES has data from the organisations Stiftelsen Upplandsmuseet, Kulturmiljö Halland/Stiftelsen Hallands länsmuseer, Stiftelsen Societas Archaeologica Upsaliensis (SAU), Norrbottens museum,  Stiftelsen Kulturmiljö Mälardalen, Stiftelsen Länsmuseét i Gävleborgs län, Stiftelsen Östergötlands länsmuseum and from the Swedish National Heritage Board excavation unit (RAÄ UV). AGES_index will be updated as new data is added to the database.
